Hotel mouse fails to surprise guests
If I had to do a short article on my NY trip, It'd be something like this:
Waterloo, ON In what critics are calling an unusual move, a Canadian couple staying at the Hotel Pennsylvania in Manhattan were not surprised to discover that a mouse was sharing their sleeping accomodations.
RP and CY were staying at the Hotel Pennsylvania on 32nd Ave when they discovered the mouse making his way in and out of their door with ease.
"I grabbed an umbrella to hit the thing, but the little bastard slipped behind the heating pipes," said RP, who seemed pleased with hotel's response to the situation.
"I spoke to the hotel manager and he said that he'd give me a 50% discount. That's on top of the hotel discount that we received online."
Hotel guests such as RP and CY may well be used to health and safety infractions in their hotel rooms -- hotels often reserve the cleaner and well-maintained rooms for full-paying customers, assuming that Expedia shoppers, who pay less, will therefore expect less.
