Neil Young
A month or two ago, Cristine surprised me with a ticket to see a Neil Young flick playing in theatres, titled "Heart of Gold." It's a live concert that he did recently, playing some stuff from his new album 'Prairie Winds' as well as some of his classics; I definitely recommend this movie.
My brother has been a long-time fan of Neil Young's, but I used to find the high-pitched vocals irritating. I'd like to think that my taste in music has improved in the past few years, and I now look forward to re-discovering his plethora of albums, hopefully in chronological order. It's always enjoyable to get into someone when they've already done several albums; and with more than 40 solo albums under his belt, I should have ample enjoyment.
Anyone who doesn't enjoy his music though, has to give him credit for this. At age 61, he's definitely more punk than 99% of the new-school 'punk bands' that have clogged the airwaves in the past 5 years.

You can see an interview with Neil Young about the album here. I had to refresh the page about 5 times before the whole movie downloaded, but the anchorman makes an important correction to a suggestion made by the interviewer, who clearly doesn't listen to Neil Young.

Ya, and as much as he bitches and whines about Bush, he's still a damn Canadian citizien, and he could damn well move back here if he wanted to. But he chooses to stay there, so it can't be that bad.
Also, considering how much play the whole "Impeach the President" story is getting - I think it's more to drive record sales, than to "be punk". He's just another grumpy old man.

So he should flee the country because of the government? Is that what we're trying to export in the middle-east?
Anybody who has put out 40 albums obviously does it for the passion. If you really think he's doing it to sell records, you should probably delete Pantera from your iPOD, and start listening to bands that market more than an image.
